Colorado Notary Training
Demand for notaries is increasing as more people require notaries for estate planning,
medical care, real estate, loans, business, dispute settlements, and other legal documents.
Becoming a notary can benefit you in your current job or become a source of additional
income. Starting in May of 2010, the Colorado notary program rules require training
for people seeking to become notaries, as well as renewing notaries that have allowed
their commission to lapse by more than 30 days. This two-hour course approved by the
Colorado Secretary of State fulfills the requirements of that State Statute 12-55-101. Learn
notary law, processes and guidelines, and how to conduct proper notary transactions.
Work through a sample exam in class so that you know what to expect when you take your
online exam. Students will be issued a certificate upon completion of the training and an
additional certificate upon successfully passing the state administered exam.

Notary Signing Agent Training & Business Start-Up
Make Money Notarizing Mortgages
Mortgage loans are one of the most profitable services for mobile notaries. There is
tremendous growth potential for mortgage closing specialists with notary closing expertise
because so many title companies have begun to outsource their document processing.
Notary signing agents can earn between $50 to $250 per signing when notarizing
documents like first and second mortgages, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, wills, living
trusts, powers of attorney, and other documents. This training prepares notaries in the
responsibilities of a signing agent, working with typical loan documents, ensuring the
integrity of the signing process, how to set up a business, and where to find clients.
Samuel Burks
has been a notary for 25 years and is a certified notary-training vendor for
the State of Colorado doing business as Esprit Group LLC, training notaries throughout the
Metro area. Class is recommended only for currently commissioned notaries. The optional
materials fee is for a resource manual/ book (PDF or eBook) used in class and valuable as
reference afterwards.
