Mind/Body Wellness
Yoga, Breath, & Mindfulness
A Program for Balanced Living
The benefits of mindfulness for stress
management and balanced living are well
established. Regular mindfulness practice
can enhance awareness of mind-body unity,
as well as the ways unconscious thoughts,
feelings, and behaviors can undermine
emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
This program incorporates yoga and
mindfulness meditation to cultivate mental,
physical, and spiritual well-being. Each
class session will include conscious and
regulated breathing practices, gentle yoga-
inspired movement, body-scan relaxation,
mindfulness meditation, and discussions
related to wellness and self-care. Discussion
topics vary each session. Course objective:
establishing a regular, sustainable
mindfulness practice for balanced living.
All levels of yoga/meditation welcome.

Yoga of the Mind
A Centering and Grounding
Meditation Practice
Discover an active meditation technique
that can help you change how you interact
with others. If you often worry about other
people’s concerns long after interacting
with them, or feel exhausted by all the
people you encounter every day, this form
of meditation can bring relief. Practice
grounding, centering, and clearing exercises
to optimize your own energy. Take home
tools you can use and practice easily every
day. Good for those with busy minds, this
mediation gives you things to work on
rather than trying to achieve “emptiness.”

Align Your Chakras
An Experiential Introduction
Chakras are energy
centers that receive,
assimilate and
express information
and energy, affecting
mind, body and
spirit. When the
chakras are operating
smoothly, we flow
through life easily
and effortlessly.
When one or more
are stuck, we may
find it hard to move
forward due to stress, difficult relationships,
procrastination, or similar challenges.
Come learn about the seven-chakra system
and practice exercises and enlightening
meditations that can help you recognize and
release chakra blockages, bring awareness,
and facilitate transformation. Class is a
practical, non-religious guide to working
with our inner selves to transform our
outer world and to become more aligned
spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and
physically.
