Take Control of Your Life
Set Healthy Boundaries
Do you ever
suffer from bad
experiences caused
by inappropriate
boundaries?
When you have
no boundaries,
you’re a doormat.
With damaged
boundaries, you
tend to take
responsibility for the
behavior of others. With rigid boundaries,
you build walls of anger or silence. These
dysfunctional boundaries rob you of
personal power. Healthy boundaries, on
the other hand, provide the fertile ground
needed to nourish your self-esteem, allowing
you to better direct and control your life.
Leave this course with knowledge about
boundaries, how to set them and what
to do when others cross them.

The Key to Intimacy
Compassionate Communication
When we connect deeply with the ones we care about, life is rich and meaningful.
Becoming aware of the habitual ways we communicate enables us to enhance this
connection and cultivate intimate satisfying relationships. Drawing from the ground-
breaking communication work of Marshal Rosenberg, you will learn how to build empathic
bonds by becoming aware of the needs that drive your actions and the needs that
motivate others. Once you are clear about the needs that underlie the actions of the other
person, you have a much better chance of finding satisfying solutions to any differences.
Just understanding each other’s needs deepens our connections and leads us to more
compassionate interaction. Poet, writer, life coach,
David Steele
, has studied and taught
interpersonal communication skills for thirty years. He is a co-founder of Rocky Mountain
Compassionate Communication. These teachings profoundly transformed his life and he is
eager to share them.
