Beginning Acting
Perhaps you’ve thought of stepping
onto stage, but expect you’ll feel a lot of
pressure. Too often stress is placed on
“performing,” getting it “right,” and getting
ready for the audience. Instead, this class
concentrates on the art and the joy, which
allows your beginner’s instincts to move
you regardless of whether it’s right or
not. It also frees you from worrying about
how anything will appear so you can let
loose and have fun! Simple exercises and
fundamental scene study shifts students
into the marvelous realm of acting without
the pressure.
Andrew Uhlenhopp
completed
the graduate program at The National
Shakespeare Conservatory and studied at
The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He has
been acting, directing, and writing for over
thirty years. An award-winning actor, Andrew
is one of the most sought-after actors in the
Denver theater community.

NEW! Beginning Guitar
Want to play along with your favorite
contemporary and classic songs? For
beginners with little or no guitar experience,
this fun, introductory class will teach you

chords, and give you a basic understanding
of notes and scales while learning familiar
rock, pop, country, and folk songs. You’ll
begin playing songs from the very first

music to take this class. You will get a brief

exactly which frets to play. Learn to play
the chords and memorize cord sequences
so that you can start playing.
