NEW! Align Your Chakras
An Experiential Introduction
Chakras are energy centers that receive,
assimilate and express information and
energy, affecting mind, body and spirit.
When the chakras are operating smoothly,
we flow through life easily and effortlessly.
When one or more are stuck, we may find
it hard to move forward due to stress,
difficult relationships, procrastination, or
similar challenges. Come learn about the
seven chakra system and practice exercises
and enlightening meditations that can
help you recognize and release chakra
blockages, bring awareness, and facilitate
transformation. Class is a practical, non-
religious guide to working with our inner
selves to transform our outer world and to
become more aligned spiritually, mentally,
emotionally, and physically.

Buddhism for Everyday Life
While Buddhism
is classified as
a religion, many
recognize that
the time-honored
Buddhist teachings
are more about a
way of life than a
religion. There is
no deity in Buddhism, so it can be easily
integrated into your life, whether you are
practicing another religion or not. The
Buddha’s life was all about compassion
and looking at ways to decrease suffering
in ourselves and in the world. The focus on
mindfulness, loving kindness, and creating
true peace—beginning with ourselves—has
made a sweet difference in many people’s
lives, and can make a difference in our
world at large. Come learn about Buddhist
teachings and practices in a relaxed and
open environment.
Val Stepien
has been
studying Buddhism for many years and
was ordained in Thich Nhat Hanh’s lineage
(the United Buddhist Church) in 2011. She
is a psychotherapist who integrates these
teachings and practices into her work.

All About Numerology

Know the ancient meanings of your name!
Discovered by Pythagoras, the grandfather
of mathematics and colleague of Socrates,
Numerology is succinct, powerful, and
fun. During this two-hour session, work
through one aspect of numerology that
can tell you what you have accomplished in
past lives, whether or not you have created
karmic debts and/or karmic learning’s
and, perhaps most importantly, what you
are here to accomplish this life time. This
course is not only educational; it is great
fun and really revealing!
Jody Stevenson
has been using the wisdom of numerology
in both her counseling and speaking for
over 25 years. She has studied Buddhism,
Hinduism, Original Christianity, and Taoism.
This is a really fun class, lively class, so
bring your friends and your “ah ha’s!”

A Simpler Way to Reading
the Tarot
Come learn to give a variety of tarot card
readings with an easy method developed
by the instructor, Rochelle Fisher of Yoga
of the Mind. Frustrated by the traditional
“memorize and intuit” approach to tarot
reading, Rochelle studied various books
and card interpretations and created a tarot
reading mat to help beginners read with
card meanings literally at their fingertips.
In class, learn how to use the mat, review
the suites and court cards, and explore
a variety of readings (yes/no questions,
month/day/year questions, and longer
spreads). More than half the class is spent
practicing giving and receiving readings with
classmates to build confidence and skills.
You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can
begin giving accurate, meaningful readings
to friends and family!
Rochelle Fisher
has been teaching intuitive development
classes at Yoga of the Mind, a meditation
and metaphysical development center, for
over five years. Bring your own tarot cards
or purchase a Rider Waite deck from the
instructor for an optional materials fee.
