Join your neighbors in learning how you can support a local Denver
Public School by spending 45 minutes once a week with an assigned
buddy in the classroom. The two of you will explore books together
and develop a friendly relationship. Volunteers are not asked to teach
children to read but to be a special person that listens and encourages
them as they practice improving their reading skills.
Learn more about the program and what it would be like to volunteer
on Thursday, August 25, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in CENTERPOINT
