The Activities Office does not accept reservations by
phone for events that require payment. The office
also does not keep large sums of money, making
it difficult to change large bills. Please keep this in

p.m. at the GAZEBOS. Enjoy a summer picnic
with your neighbors and support the Colorado
Boys Ranch (CBR) Foundation / Youth Connect
Program. Food For Thought will cater the event,
serving burgers, chicken, baked beans, potato
salad, pasta salad, brownies and lemon bars,
iced tea and lemonade. Chuck Thompson from
CBR will bring watermelons and cantaloupe
for sale with all proceeds going to CBR Youth
Connect.

Tuesday, August 16, at 2:30 p.m. in
CENTERPOINT. Join resident actress Phyllis
Woodard as she profiles Helen Bonfils. A familiar
name to Coloradoans, Bonfils contributed
enormously to the theatre in Denver. Her
involvement with the Denver Post is legendary.
Cost:
$10
per person. Price includes lovely
finger foods and tea. Last date for ticket sales is
Friday, August 12.
ACTIVE MINDS
– THE REFUGEE
CRISIS:
Thursday, August 18, at 2 p.m. in
CENTERPOINT. Millions of refugees are fleeing
from danger zones in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere,
creating a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions.
Many are dying in transit and the nations
receiving them are being overwhelmed. Join
Active Minds as we explore how the migrants
and the international community are struggling
to cope with these challenges.
Cost

Brad Fitch is a singer, songwriter and guitarist
who was raised in Estes Park, Colorado and
has been playing professionally since he was 15
years old. With over 300 shows a year, he has
a busy schedule and we are lucky to have him
perform at WG.

WHAT THE HACK SEMINAR

a.m. in CENTERPOINT WEST. Groovy Tek
trainers will lead the discussion and presentation
on online security. Groovy Tek workshops
are designed to address your questions and
concerns. Please bring any questions or concerns
you have about online security and they will
be addressed. Print-outs of the topics covered
will be provided. 11:30 a.m. to noon: Greeting,
sign-in and pizza. 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Seminar

the wide variety of classes we offer here at WG.
You can gather information regarding time and
day and supply lists if applicable. Many of our
instructors will be doing demonstrations.
CLUBS & GROUPS EXPO in CENTERPOINT:
Members of various clubs and groups will be in
CenterPoint on the same day, allowing you to
“see it all” in one day. Get acquainted with the
many clubs and groups that are at home at
Windsor Gardens.
FAMILY FUN GOLF DAY:
Saturday,
September 10, at 8 a.m. at EMERALD GREENS
GOLF COURSE. Scramble format will be used
with the first foursome teeing off at 8 a.m. Call
the WG Golf Shop at 303-366-3133 to schedule
tee time. Green fees for this special event will
be $7 for
nine holes and $3 for miniature golf.
A great event to bring the whole family! Our
WG restaurant, Blossoms, will be offering a
hamburger, chips and cookie meal for $5 or a
hot dog, chips and cookie for $3.
AARP SAFE DRIVING COURSE:
