100% volunteer-based. AAPRC has or-
ganized numerous fundraising events
from garage sales to dog washes to most
recently, a Jambalaya fundraiser in
December 2015 at the beautiful new
Crosby Commons Park. These
proceeds go to rescuing, vetting and
adopting out homeless animals.
In line with AAPRC’s founder
Bobbi Shute’s original objective, the
group is currently
planning to appear
before the county’s
Board of Supervisors
to address strengthen-
ing existing cruelty
laws as well as
enforcement of these
laws. Until the animal
welfare
laws
in
Mississippi improve,
making it a
safer, more humane place
for its animals, this group
will continue to do its part
to protect them. If you are
