Carve Barbeque debuts look for fast-casual concept
Colorado Springs-based Southern Concepts Restaurant Group debuted the design of its new fast-casual
restaurant concept. Roth Sheppard Architects is designing Carve Barbeque, a 2,200-square-foot restau-

The Neenan Co., in partnership
with client Physicians Develop-
ment Group, has broken ground
on Flatirons Health and Rehabili-
tation in Louisville.
The project represents the first
skilled rehabilitation facility to be
built in Louisville and the first
project in Colorado for Physicians
Development Group.
The Neenan Co., the design-
build partner for the project, is
building the 44,000-square-foot,
two-story skilled inpatient reha-
bilitation facility. The project will
provide short-term skilled nurs-
ing and physical, occupational
and speech therapy services
designed to rehabilitate and tran-
sition patients back to their homes
safely. The vision of Physicians
Development Group is to provide
high-quality living and home-
like rehabilitation environments.
Upon completion, the project will
include 48 private patient rooms,
lounges, two dining rooms, in-
house therapy, a chapel and an
administration area.
“We are thrilled that Louisville
is able to bring the much-needed
medical facility to its residents and
surrounding communities,” said
Shelley Angell, executive direc-
tor of the Louisville Chamber of
Commerce. “This type of facil-
ity is in high demand across the
state, and we’re proud to have the
opportunity to offer convenient
access to our community, which
will also attract patients from out-
side the local area.”
Site grading for the facility start-
ed at the end of May, with an
anticipated completion in spring
2016. Flatirons Health and Reha-
bilitation will be located at 1107
