Lakewood-based Catamount
Constructors Inc. has entered
into an agreement to acquire RJM
Construction’s Denver division.
“Catamount and RJM operate
with similar philosophies. Both
companies are committed to a
strong client focus and pride
themselves on collaborative
relationships with a high per-
centage of repeat business. We
are extremely pleased to bring
the expertise of RJM’s Denver-
based team to our company,”
said Geoff Wormer, Catamount’s
CEO. “We are confident that their
experience, particularly within
the health care sector, will com-
plement our other project types
and markets. We see this as a
tremendous growth opportunity,
promoting success for the com-
pany, our employees and our val-
ued clients.”
RJM Construction will contin-
ue to operate its Minneapolis and
Phoenix divisions, while most
members of the Denver RJM
team are expected to join Cata-
mount by the end of the summer.

Full-service general contract-
ing firm Howell Construction
recently completed the Vectra
Bank Regional Branch office in
Centennial.
The 9,215-square-foot, two-
story office and customer
banking facility comprises a
customer service area, offices/
meeting spaces, drive-thru tell-
ers and a second floor primar-
ily dedicated to office space.
One of the unique features
to the building, situated on
the 1.5-acre site at 6705 S.
Potomac St., is the usage of a
rain screen exterior cladding
system, according to Howell
Construction.
Additionally, the regional
branch office was constructed
on a deep pier and crawl-
space foundation designed
to address specific site condi-
tions.
Burkettdesign was the archi-
tect for the project, which was
completed on schedule.

Holland Partner Group and
North America Sekisui House
LLC have started construction
on Pivot Denver, a mixed-use
development that will be home
to Whole Foods Market’s flag-
ship Denver location.
Davis Partnership Architects
is the project’s architect while
Holland’s construction arm is
the general contractor.
Pivot Denver, located at the
corner of 17th and Wewatta
streets, will include 580 luxury
residential units, 67,000 square
feet of ground-floor retail,
including the 56,000-sf Whole
Foods, one level of under-
ground parking and three lev-
els of above-grade parking.
Sitting on top of the retail/
parking will stand the three
10-story towers containing the
residential units, which will be
connected by a central amenity
building surrounded by three
separate outdoor recreation
and living areas.
Pivot Denver is slated for
completion in April 2018.

Adolfson & Peterson Con-
struction recently joined with
the Grace Pointe Continuing
Care Community, Lantz-Bog-
gio Architects and Continuum
Health to celebrate the grand
opening of Phase II of the Grace
Pointe Continuing Care Com-
munity.
The project was an expansion
of the Greeley facility, which
added 26 assisted living units
with a 28,000-square-foot wing
addition and expanded two
dining rooms in the existing
facility.
The campus, which provides
independent and assisted liv-
ing, skilled nursing, rehabilita-
tion and memory care services,
remained occupied during con-
struction.
The facility is located at 1919
68th Ave.
Adolfson & Peterson also
recently completed the Banner
Health North Colorado Medi-
cal Center Pharmacy relocation
project in Greeley.
The pharmacy, designed by
HKS Architects Inc., was reno-
vated from an existing lab in the
North Colorado Medical Center
at 1801 16th St.
The project comprised a
10,400-sf renovation, which
included a new pharmacy car-
ousel located above 12 active
operating room units. A&P’s
primary focus was to minimize
impacts to patients and staff,
achieved through open commu-
nication, noise mitigation and
infection control.
