Hole-N-One
Congratulations to James Daugherty who had a hole-in-one on Hole
#7 on July 19, 2016.
No Level Spot
Phoebe, Lilly and Zoey are all about to tee off on the first hole. Zoey cannot find a level spot for her tee, so she
tees up just in front of the indicated tee marks. Zoey hits a beautiful drive right down the center of the fairway.
Lilly says, “Nice shot, too bad it’s a one stroke penalty from playing from the wrong tee.” Phoebe shouts,
“Disqualified, you lost the first hole.” What is the correct ruling?
A. Zoey receives a 2-stroke penalty for playing from the wrong place and may play her drive in the fairway.
B. Zoey receives a 1-stroke penalty and must re-tee and play the shot over.
C. Zoey receives no penalty and must re-play the tee shot.
D. Zoey receives no penalty and must play the tee shot.
