from the depth of my heart and humbly beg to whom God has given such
great power to come to my assistance. Help me in my present and urgent
petition. In return I promise to make your name known and cause you to be
invoked. St. Jude pray for us and all who invoke your aid. Amen.

WAVELAND -- There will be a Fati-
ma Rosary Gathering on Tuesday, Sept.
13, at 5:30 pm near the beach by the St.
Clare Church Grotto, 236 South Beach
Blvd. The purpose of the event is to pray
for peace, vocations and God’s guidance
for our country’s leadership. Bring your

WOOLMARKET -- St. Mary Parish
will host a Life Teen/Edge Kickoff for
children in Grades 6-12 and their fami-
lies on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 6 pm to
8 pm at the church, 8343 Woolmarket
Road.
There will be Mud Volleyball and a
Slip-n-slide Kickball Tournament. There
will also be free t-shirts for the first 25
who register. Free food, music, gift

Teen/Edge Kickoff
DIOCESE OF BILOXI -- The Of-
fice of Youth Ministry is sponsoring four
Sunset Retreats for students in grades 7
and 8. These retreats will be presented
by the Diocesan Spirit Movers and each
will be chocked full of music, games,
prayers, fun and food. Registration for
each retreat will begin at 2:30 pm and
each retreat will run from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Cost is $15 per youth and free for adults.

BILOXI -- There will be a Charity
Bingo on September 11 at Biloxi Elks
Lodge, Hwy 90, to benefit the Bethel
Free Health Clinic. Doors open at noon,
early bird games at 2 pm, regular bingo
at 2:30 pm. There will be plenty of good
food, fellowship and great prizes.
