Sacred Heart Elementary Principal Vicki Flanagan was doused with buckets and
buckets of water on Friday, August 26, after a week-long competitive fundraiser
for St. Jean Vianney Catholic School in Baton Rouge. Students raised more than
$5,000 for the flooded school, and Flanagan was soaked by the class who raised
the most money! Brenda Cameron’s fourth grade was the winning class.

Representatives of Teresa Ketchum’s class are pictured with items carried
during the entrance procession for the Feast of the Assumption Tri-school Mass.
Each of the items carried is a reminder of our devotion to the Blessed Mother.

Our Father in Heaven through the intercession of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, spare us during this Hurricane season from all harm. Protect
