Bishop Roger Morin confirmed young people from Holy Spirit Parish in
Vancleave and Christ the King Mission in Latimer on August 27 at Holy Spirit
Church. Confirmandi were Sarah Babineaux, Kallie Bodin, Hayley Burge,
Mikayla Cauley, Trevor Dorsey, Derrick Griffin, Michael Johnson, Emily
McAvoy, Marie Massey, Mitchell Rhea, Savannah Ross, Kayla Tran, Charles

iGiveCatholic day of giving slated for November 29 in
Diocese of Biloxi
On August 30, Melissa Gurdian Exnicios, Gift Planner for the Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, facilitated a day of training for parishes,
schools and other diocesan entities that are planning to participate in #iGiveCatholic day of giving slated for November 29 in the Diocese of Biloxi, at the Diocesan
Pastoral Center. Bishop Roger Morin welcomed the 41 attendees and thanked them for their participation, while encouraging them to spread the word about this
exciting program. “I really do think what we are about here is something that will grow each year and, as we become more familiar with it, it can’t be anything but
a plus for everyone involved,” he said, adding publicity is crucial to its success.
