atsuhisa restaurant features Japanese cuisine and atmosphere in the
Cherry Creek neighborhood. This 7,800-square-foot space includes a Zen
garden, reclaimed teak paneling throughout the restaurant, and ornate
Japanese cut-out screens. The 200-seat restaurant occupies the first floor of a
12-story apartment building.
D.L. Adams Associates provided acoustical consulting to reduce noise from the
kitchen and allow for comfortable, yet private, conversation in the dining area.
High-end acoustical finishes were used to preserve the desired aesthetic of the
restaurant.

enver-based tenant finish construction firm MAX Construction Inc. recently
completed construction on a new 12,767-square-foot space for Kentwood
Real Estate located at 215 St Paul St. in the heart of Denver’s Cherry Creek
neighborhood.
The $1.1 million project was a first-generation build-out, giving the team a blank
canvas from which to work. MAX Construction, together with architect Acquilano
Leslie, provided Kentwood Real Estate with a modern, open concept office featuring
design elements that highlight Denver’s unique neighborhoods.
Kentwood Real Estate occupies two floors of the three-story building – a first-
floor retail space as well as a second floor with workspaces and conference rooms.
In addition to the work and conference areas, a second-floor café area provides the
tenant with a modern space to gather informally and even host events.

ERTEX recently completed an occupied tenant improvement project with an
esteemed national client, for whom VERTEX is the preferred general contrac-
tor in several markets around the country. The project was located on the
27th and 30th floor of Denver Place in the heart of downtown Denver. The office re-
model was valued over $750,000 and consists of a brand-new layout that includes
a reception area with feature walls, conference rooms, collaborative recharge bars
as well as individual leasable office space. Occupied remodels, such as this project,
require a certain tactical approach for scheduling and execution; VERTEX executed
the remodel on time and under budget.
