Matsuhisa restaurant features Japanese cuisine and atmosphere in the Cherry Creek neighborhood. This 7,800-square-foot space includes a Zen garden, reclaimed teak paneling throughout the restaurant, and ornate Japanese cut-out screens. The 200-seat restaurant occupies the first floor of a 12-story apartment building. D.L. Adams Associates provided acoustical consulting to reduce noise from the kitchen and allow for comfortable, yet private, conversation in the dining area. High-end acoustical finishes were used to preserve the desired aesthetic of the restaurant.
