Engineers Inc.
Hootman joins the firm with
more than 20 years’ experience
in architec-
ture and
engineering.
His specialty
is provid-
ing strategic
guidance and
research for
the design
and engineer-
ing of net-
zero-energy
buildings and communities.
In his new role at the
mechanical, electrical, plumb-
ing and energy services firm,
Hootman will be charged with
advancing the company’s
mission of consulting more,
consuming less to progressing
its position around innova-
tive problem solving, high-
performance engineering and
sustainable design.
Hootman earned a degree in
architectural engineering from
the University of Wyoming.

Al Slattery
and
Joe Vostrejs
as new board
directors.
Slattery, business develop-
ment manager for Haselden
Construction, has been an
active member in Denver’s
architects, engineers and con-
tractors community and over
the last 18 years served on
numerous professional and
educational boards.
Vostrejs, a founding partner
with Larimer Associates, has
been involved in real estate
and restaurant development in
Denver since 1985. He also is a
partner in Union Station Alli-
ance for the development of
Union Station.

Robert Kruse
joined
Taylor
Kohrs,
a full-service contractor,
as a project manager with more
than 30 years’ experience in the
industry. He has a wide range of
knowledge managing projects in
the commercial, retail, municipal
and residential markets.

Eric Holt
was named an
ownership partner at
Ele-
ments,
a full-service furniture
dealership.
Holt has
been the
director of
business
development
at the Den-
ver-based
firm for
seven years.
Under the
terms of the
agreement, Holt will keep his
business development respon-
sibilities and assume the title of
principal, alongside Elements
co-founders and principals
Traci Lounsbury, Rob Hill and
Steve Dean.
Prior to joining Elements, he
was a senior account executive
with TEC integration, where he
developed plans to integrate
new technology initiatives into
a variety of Colorado organiza-
tions, as well as created and
implemented strategies for
attracting new customers to
TEC Integration. Holt holds
a bachelor’s degree from the
University of Iowa.
Tara McEnroe
also joined
the firm and will be part of its
health care market segment
team. She will focus on assist-
ing health
care clients
in designing
settings that
enhance staff
effectiveness,
improve the
patient and
visitor expe-
rience and
maximize
their invest-
ment.
Prior to joining Elements,
McEnroe served as a designer
with a local interior design
firm that specialized in health
care projects. She also owned
her own manufacturer’s
representative firm, which
included a number of product
lines unique to the health care
industry and worked in sales
with a furniture dealership.
McEnroe holds a bachelor’s
degree in interior design from
the University of Kansas.

joined

Inc.
Cernick
joined the
privately
owned con-
struction
company as
an assistant
superinten-
dent. He came to the firm with
several years of experience
in the field and will be work-
ing his way toward the goal
of being a
superinten-
dent.
Thornton
is a construc-
tion manage-
ment gradu-
ate from
Colorado
State Uni-
versity. He is
tasked with
supporting the firm’s estimat-
ing department.

Stresscon Corp.,
an archi-
tectural and structural precast,
prestressed concrete company,
made changes to its corporate
management team.
Rob Hixon
is now in pre-
construction services, work-
ing with both the Denver and
Colorado Springs offices. He
has more than seven years’
experience with the Stresscon
team, serving as project coor-
dinator, estimating coordina-
tor and serving as lead project
coordinator on several projects.
In his current role, Hixon is
responsible for providing
estimating services, business
development, strategic plan-
ning, new product develop-
ment and working with clients
during early project develop-
ment stages.
Stefan Kalbli
transitioned
to the role of project manager,
working with both the Den-
ver and Colorado Springs
offices. He has been a part of
the EnCon design team, work-
ing with Stresscon as a design
engineer on numerous proj-
ects over the past six years. In
his new role, Kalbli will offer
preconstruction and design
assistance services, compose
project estimates and proposals
and coordinate efforts between
Stresscon’s internal team and
the client’s design team on
individual projects.
Justin Kennedy
was pro-
moted to plant superintendent.
In this role, he will be respon-
sible for production; planning;
scheduling; plant resources,
such as budgeting and person-
nel; inspections; and quality
assurance. He has been with
Stresscon for more than 17
years.
His previous company
experience includes welding
and cage building, and serv-
ing as welding foreman and
production foreman. Kennedy
also spent time working at the
EnCon Utah and EnCon Wash-
ington plants.

Most recently, Catalano was
the manager of the capital proj-
ects division for Aurora Water,
where he managed delivery of
water, wastewater and storm-
water projects

Aurora.
He has
more than
30 years of
experience
managing,
designing,
constructing
and operat-
ing water
and waste-
water facilities in Colorado and
throughout the U.S. Catalano
leads Mortenson’s environmen-
tal market.
He is a registered professional
engineer.

Denver office as project man-
ager.
She joins the firm after more
than five years as founder and
senior engineer of the firm
Dalglish Daylighting. Dalglish
Daylighting’s portfolio featured
a number of notable projects,
including the History Colorado
Center, Cherry Creek School
District Institute of Science and
Technology, Sangre de Cristo
PK-12 school, LAMetro Union
Station and Alamosa Readiness
Center.
Dalglish is a lighting designer
and daylighting analyst with
more than 18 years of experi-
ence in the design and construc-
tion industry.
M.E. Group is a high-per-
formance building consultant,
specializing in mechanical
and electrical design, energy
modeling and consulting, build-
ing commissioning, occupant
engagement and green building
consulting.
