Full-service contractor Taylor
Kohrs is relocating and expand-
ing from its current location with-
in the city of Thornton to its new
location at 12160 Pennsylvania St.
The firm occupies 11,180 square
feet of space in the central Thorn-
ton business district and planned
to be operational in the new space
by the start of February.
TaylorKohrs presently employs
24 people and expects to increase
that number in coming years. “It
has always been a goal of mine
to have my own building,” said
Scott Kohrs, president of Taylor
Kohrs. “I couldn’t be more proud
of all the hard work everyone at
Taylor Kohrs puts in to bring suc-
cessful projects to our clients to
allow for such a great opportuni-
ty. I’m excited and humbled that
this dream is coming to fruition
and to keep our headquarters in
Thornton.”
“The city of Thornton is thrilled
Taylor Kohrs chose to expand
in Thornton,” Thornton Mayor
Heidi Williams said of the expan-
sion of the firm, which has been
located in the city for the past
12 years. “The jobs they provide
and the work they do make them
a valuable asset to the commu-
nity and continue the outstand-
ing activity we are seeing in the
central Thornton business district.
We look forward to working with
them as they continue to grow in
our city.”
The relocation was assisted by

business recruitment and reten-
tion activities for the Metro Den-
ver EDC. The regional economic
