289-unit luxury apartment
community now in the pro-
cess of opening, is upping
the pace to revitalize an un-
derutilized triangle of land
in the southwest corner of this Denver
landmark neighborhood.
The eight-story tower, at 360 S. Monroe
St., is a first-time collaboration between
Denver developer SmithJones Partners,
which specializes in the lifestyle rental
apartment sector, and Gables Residen-
tial, an Atlanta-based private real estate
investment trust. Bruce Rifkin, Rifkin
and Associates Inc., is the land partner.
Rounding out the project team is the
Denver office of Swinerton Builders,
general contractor; Ziegler Cooper Archi-
tects, Houston; Denver’s Semple Brown
Design, interior design and finishes; and
landscape by Norris Design, also of Den-
ver.
“We feel very fortunate to be working
with these partners and to be part of the
remarkable revitalization that’s taking

Smith, who has envisioned a high-end
apartment complex on this site for sev-
eral years.
The stylish new community marks the
