Getting What You Really
Want Out of Life
A Special Event with Vikki Walton
What if you could find out what you really,
truly want in life? People often neglect taking
steps toward their dreams simply because
they don’t know where to start, what steps
to take, or how to achieve their goals. This
workshop will introduce you to simple, yet
effective tools to sort genuine personal
desires and needs from illusory ones. Often,
what we think will make us happy is far
different than what we really seek.
Vikki
Walton
set out at a fairly young age to “get
what she wanted out of life.” That quest led
her to an entrepreneurial lifestyle, teaching,
and traveling the world. Most days, you’ll
find Vikki digging in her gardens, caring for
her chickens, editing her new mystery, or
spreading her passion of living life to the
fullest. Are you ready to begin living the
authentic life you want and deserve? This
workshop could change your life!

Great American Smoke-Out
Everybody knows the benefits of quitting
smoking and just how hard it can be to do
so. The National Cancer Society urges and
educates us every year to join the Great
American Smoke-Out together and just
quit! Even if you’ve tried lots of other ways
and had setbacks, consider hypnosis, a
gentle and non-invasive method to break
the habit once and for all. Hypnosis makes
the subconscious level of mind accessible
and can help you to quit.
Drake Eastburn
has been helping people to become non-
smokers through the power of the mind for
more than 20 years. He also teaches his
methods to hypnotherapists internationally.
Wishing that one could break the cycle of
nicotine addiction is not the same thing
as being truly committed to doing so, and
the best guarantee of success is always
an individual’s own honest commitment to
personal betterment. However, hypnosis
may be the help you need in committing
yourself to break the habit this November!

Storytelling with a Spooky
Twist
There’s no better way to get your message
across than to tell an effective and colorful
story. A well-told tale enhances your
message, and being able to share a colorful
tale adds to your charisma. To keep your
listeners engaged, you need to bring your
characters to life, add humor and conflict,
and make sure that your story, whether
funny or serious, makes a point. In this
October workshop, learn and practice
performance techniques for telling tales
fit for the Halloween season. The skills you
learn are applicable to all personal and
professional settings, but you’ll have fun
telling some spooky stories. Coach
Bill
Smith
trains actors, stand-up comics, and
professional storytellers as well as business
professionals, politicians, marketers,
motivational speakers, and spiritual leaders.
Receive a personalized DVD of your work
in the first meeting. In the week between,
review your DVD and practice two stories to
share in the second session. The materials
fee includes a DVD & handouts.

Spirits of the Night
An Old-Fashioned Talking Board
Session with Will Christy
The nights are becoming dark, the air is
crisp, and the mysterious spirits of the
night are just waiting to for us to invite
them in. Join local intuitive
Will Christy
for
a good old-fashioned talking board session
and see what the spirits have to say this
Halloween. A talking board is similar to the
OUIJA Board® you played with as a kid. See
Will’s collection of talking boards (some
antique), learn a bit about their history, and
then jump in and give it a try with fellow
classmates. The talking board session lasts
about an hour and a half and is followed by
refreshments, with plenty of time to discuss
and interpret the events of the session. This
is a fun, safe, and slightly spooky evening
out!

Ghost Walk
On Capitol Hill
Spooks and spirits haunt Denver. Many
hover near the Capitol. Come try to invoke
some during a pleasant, relaxed two-
hour stroll around parts of Capitol Hill.
In addition to ghostly embodiments, we’ll
also explore some of the architecture,
history, and sex scandals of the region.
Be advised: Salty language will be used to
describe seamy behavior.

The Ghosts of Cheesman
Park
There are more than 2,000 bodies buried
in Cheesman Park! The location of the
Changeling is adjacent to it. Bizarre events
sometimes occur there late at night, and
supposedly there is a spot in the park where
an object never casts a shadow at high
noon. Exactly what is going on, the history
of the park, its spirits, and nearby houses
are featured on this walking tour.
