Let’s Go Cuba!
Land of Mystery & Beauty
The decades-long barriers to traveling to
Cuba are rapidly collapsing, so it’s a great
time to learn more about this mysterious
island and what you need to know to make
it your next travel destination. Discuss a bit
about the history of Cuba, the revolution,
the embargo and blockade as well as the
current Cuba demographics (population,
living conditions, medical, education, crime
(lack of), and ration stores). Explore what is
happening with the normalization of Cuba/
USA relations and what that means for the
average traveler. Hotels, restaurants, and
other traveler tips will be addressed as you
enjoy a picture presentation of hundreds of
photos taken within Cuba. Taught by
Frank
Slater
, CEO, International Guide Academy,
who since 2012 has been legally traveling
to Cuba with groups under the people-to-
people program. He has completed almost
