Alma will be remembered for her thoughtfulness with sending cards to residents celebrating birthdays and anniversaries as well as offering comfort during sad times for those who were ill or for families who had lost a loved one. She lived in Building 47 for over 35 years and had many interesting stories about Windsor Gardens from long ago. She was definitely respected and will be missed. Board of Directors Where: Colorado Room October 26 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Building Rep and Alternate Appreciation Event Where: CenterPoint October 17 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Honesty, character and integrity I live in one of the condos on S. Clinton St. The other day I lost my keys, and after looking around my place I proceeded to my car, which was parked on S. Clinton. I found a note on my car asking if I had lost keys and telling me where to find them. I'm very thankful for getting my keys back. This act of kindness says a lot about the character and integrity of the residents and employees in the great community of Windsor Gardens. Thank you everyone for making life a little easier for those of us that are getting older and more forgetful. Dennis Galligan Letters submitted to Windsor Life are published at the discretion of the Windsor Gardens Association Board of Directors and the editors. Letters containing obvious factual inaccuracies, unattributed facts and quotes or libelous statements will not be printed. The writer’s name will be included with those letters that are published. E-mail to: WindsorLife@wgamail.com . Mail to: Windsor Life, 595 S. Clinton St., Denver, CO 80247 Councilwoman Mary Beth Susman Where: All-Purpose Room (2nd floor, Community Center) October 11 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. which was moved here and renovated years ago. It has served the community well; however, it has been updated and remodeled about as many times as possible. The restaurant is an important amenity to Windsor Gardens and is a project that is going to be expensive. The final planning and financing of this project is going to require board members capable of serious and sound thinking. I would encourage all Windsor Gardens residents to take this election with the seriousness it deserves. Study the issues and the candidates and vote. Meanwhile, all you Bronco fans, at press time we are 2-2. We still may be in for a good season, so hang in there. PRESIDENT'S PEN continued from page 1 Building Rep. Committee Where: CenterPoint November 28 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
