A s h W e d n e s d a y C o l l e c t i o n Feb. 18 On February 2, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, our students from Resurrection Catholic Elementary School joined Sacred Heart parishioners for a beautiful and grace filled celebration of Candlemas. Our students experienced the blessing of the candles -- a powerful reminder that Christ is the Light who guides our steps. Although the cold weather kept us from having the traditional procession, the joy and reverence of the celebration filled the church in a special way. Hart Council 9673 receives Knights of Columbus Double Star Council Award. District Deputy David Seymour (right) presents Grand Knight Bill Whitmire (left) said award. The award recognizes the achievement of three separate national-level awards for council excellence including the Columbian Award, the McGivney Award and the Founders Award. Overall, council #9673 was recognized as the fastest growing and one of the most active of over 50 councils statewide from July 1, 2024, to June 20, 2025.
