32 Gulf Pine Catholic • February 13, 2026 Resurrection Catholic School, Pascagoula, celebrates Catholic School Week Resurrection Catholic Elementary and Middle High schools participated in many activities during Catholic School Week. The middle high school collected coats and cold weather gear for local the homeless community; prayed a Patriotic Rosary in celebration of their nation in which they lifted up each state and every branch of the government in prayer; visited nursing home residents and gave out handmade cards and posters for residents and treats for the staff; and heard from Dr. Angela Parise who spoke with students about her Catholic faith and Right to Life. The elementary school prayed a Living Rosary for their fellow students, teachers, priests and those that work to service their community; eld an open house with parents who learned more about their academic programs and faith formation; and had fun activities such as glow parties, “snowball” fights and screened the movie David all to celebrate CSW2026. Both campuses represented their schools by wearing their uniforms to Mass and participated in a Joint Mass where both campuses came together as one to celebrate Mass as one family.
