18 Gulf Pine Catholic • January 30, 2026 Under the leadership of Band Director Sean Keady and Art Teacher Danielle Inabinet, St. Stanislaus hosted a stunning combined art show and band concert that truly illuminated the evening. Talented art students proudly displayed an impressive collection of work created throughout the semester, highlighting their creativity and craftsmanship. Complementing the visual arts, the St. Stanislaus band filled the space with the joyful sounds of beautifully performed Christmas music, creating a festive and memorable atmosphere for all in attendance. Congratulations to our students for their outstanding creativity, skill, and dedication. They are (l-r): Kathy Ordahl, president; Midori Nguyen, vice-president; Julie Moore, secretary; and Allie Applewhite, treasurer. The new officers and members plan an exciting year of service in 2026, including weekly cleaning, taking care of the flowers on the altar and at the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In addition, the Altar Society purchases new altar linens as needed and cares for the vestments of the priests, deacons, and altar servers. Committees include: candles, flowers, linens, May Crowning, membership, religious articles, social media, and spiritual. A team of four members clean each week, and host the monthly meetings, beginning with recitation of the Rosary, usually on the second Saturday at Fannon Hall. They don’t meet in the summer months. Plans include a St. Joseph’s Altar in March and a raffle later in the year. They support the Youth Ministry in the parish and remember the priests and deacons on their special days, and also remember deceased members with Masses. The Altar Society has a case filled with religious items for sale at the entrance of the church, and their annual membership Tea Party is always well attended.
