Walter Milner Moore Walter Milner Moore, age 88, of McDonough, Ga., passed away on August 4, 2018. Mr. Moore was born in Atlanta, Ga., the son of the late Sybil Beatrice Wallace and Hampton Enis Moore. Mr. Moore served his country in the US Navy from 1941 until 1947. He was a member of Eagles Landing First Baptist Church, a member of Masonic Lodge #37 of McDonough and the Ambassador to the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, Scottish Rite Shriners, Knights Templar and the Ameri- can Legion. He was a Chick-fil-A Ambassador and known for his magic and being the chain and ring man. He was also preceded in death by all of his five siblings. Survivors are his wife of 33 years, Melodi Prestage-Moore of McDonough; children, David Moore (Pam) of Fayetteville, Bill Nocetti (Donna) of Fresno, Calif., Bonnie Winfree (Paul) of San Diego, Calif., Jennifer Sparks of McDonough, Mark Moore (Paula) of McDonough and Ann Waiting of McDonough; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grand- children. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Haisten Funeral Home.
