W
estern Union and RNL partnered with ELEMENTS to make its Denver
headquarters reflect its forward-thinking and focus on innovation while
maintaining cohesion with the broader Western Union brand. At the heart
of the remodel were DIRTT’s highly adaptable wall products. Knoll’s award-winning
Antenna bench system was selected for workstations, along with additional Knoll
design products for conference areas and private offices. The resulting space is
modern and flexible. It captures the spirit of the Denver Western Union team while
displaying their solidarity as a brand

C
onstruction is underway on the new MorningStar senior living community in
Lone Tree. MorningStar at Lone Tree was programmed and designed to in-
corporate state-of-the-art practices and new discoveries in senior living and
long-term care with maximum sensitivity and responsiveness to the values, desires
and expectations of the new generations of seniors.
With a total area of 295,630 square feet, the project contains 124 units for inde-
pendent living, a 71-unit assisted living component and a 26-unit neighborhood for
memory impaired.
The project is being constructed by Haselden Construction.

W
hite Construction Group recently completed its first concession project at
Denver International Airport. The 1,240-sf Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli project,
located in Concourse B, consisted of a total rebuild and features new
mechanical and electrical upgrades, new ceramic tile, millwork and casework. The
kitchen features granite countertops and high-end, stainless steel, energy efficient,
appliances. Working double shifts, White Construction Group superintendents Dan
Adriaens and Josh Reitz, as well as project manager Kathryn Armstrong, teamed
with Concessions International and Silhouette Design Architecture to deliver reno-
vations ahead of schedule to one of the several Heidi's locations around the nation.
White Construction Group is engaged in a three year on-call contract with DIA and
is working on the repairs of 18 existing grease traps, structural upgrades at eight
electrical rooms and completed the Concourse C carpet replacement in late 2014.

A
n American eatery with Southern charm, Four Friends Kitchen with interiors by
Rowland+Broughton Architecture / Urban Design / Interior Design is Stapleton's
first and only independent, full-service restaurant focused on brunch and lunch.
Founded by four friends who reside in the neighborhood, the space pays homage to
the former site of the Stapleton International Airport with custom aviation inspired wall-
coverings and bold graphics.
Family friendly attributes are a hallmark of this design, incorporating natural materi-
als and colorful furnishings for a sophisticated yet playful aesthetic. A dynamic etch-
a-sketch gallery is situated in the entry where guests can create a unique, constantly
evolving etched work of art. The design features the first open-air rooftop dining experi-
ence in Stapleton Town Center.
