Digital Storytelling for Fun
and Profit
Digital storytelling is a fun way to showcase
an upcoming event, share photos for the
holidays, or bring attention to an important
project. This workshop combines lecture
and hands-on lab to give you the basics of
digital storytelling. You will learn how to
plan your story and then bring your project
to life using images and sound using the
online platform, WeVideo. Tailored for
beginners, the class shows how to upload
photo and sound files and create a short
video. Walk away with a short video and an
understanding of how to distribute your
completed projects online.
Lynn Wilson
is
founder of SparqU.com and a professor
of business and entrepreneurship at the
Community College of Denver. Trained
by the CU Denver Center for Digital
Storytelling, he has helped individuals, non-
profits, and small business owners develop
digital stories. Call to register for this course

in our computer lab for the second session.
