But, it doesn’t stay a beautiful, well-maintained community without the tireless efforts of both our hard-working staff and our dedicated volunteers. Being either a committee member or a board member is sometimes a thankless job but so critical to the health of our small town. There are many highly intelligent residents that would make excellent board members. I am asking that you courageously step out and run for the board. It takes time to read and understand all the complicated issues, to listen to all the facets of an issue and, sometimes, to make hard decisions that are ultimately the best for the community as a whole. But, the reward of knowing that you contributed to the well being of our neighborhood is so worth the effort. Please, consider this possibility for the next three years of your life here at Windsor Gardens. Michele Compton Proposed Changes to Common Area Decorating Policy I realize that it is time to update our wallpaper and paint in our building hallways, but to what extent has the Board of Directors given power to the six people on the Architecture Review Committee over the remaining approximately 3000 residents?? Why do six people have the power to determine what is aesthetically pleasing in our buildings?? The new proposed policy states that “seasonal decorations will only be allowed in building and elevator lobbies between November 22 Letters submitted to Windsor Life are published at the discretion of the Windsor Gardens Association Board of Directors and the editors. All letters must include the writer’s name, address and phone number for verification purposes. Letters submitted by mail or dropped off at the Association office also need a signature.
