A sunrise burial occurred Friday, June 10, 2022, at 7:00 AM at Chemehuevi Cemetery, Havasu Lake, CA. A Casting ceremony took place later at Hoover Dam, Clark County, Nevada. She was a member of the Quechan Indian Tribe and attended San Pasqual throughout her school years; and later worked at the Quechan Casino Resort as a Pool Attendant and enjoyed spending time with family and friends during her off time. In Loving Memory of Mary Louise Day February 15, 1950 - May 30, 2022 Mary Louise Day, 72, passed away May 30, 2022, in Ocean Springs, MS. She was born on February 15, 1950, and raised in Yuma, AZ and lived in Mississippi, at the time of her death she resided in Vancleave, MS. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Felix Sr. and Delfina, and siblings, Isadora, Toni, Fran, Joe, and Christy. She is survived by her life partner William and siblings, Felix Jr., Danny (Margaret), (Nellie), (Paul Sr.), (Ralph), (Dennis). Her children, Kimberly (John), Christine, Melissa, and Jason, grandchildren, Nathen, Chasity (Brandon), Nolan (Erika), Kierah, Nicholas (Potter), Dillen, Zachary (Kelly), Danielle, Rachael, Kieona (Mazin), Jace, Amanda, Lil Mark, 19 Great-grandchil- dren and 1 on the way. She had many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Her hobbies and interests were, yard-sales and thrift store shopping with family, family gatherings, taking care of others, scary movies, cooking tacos, watching cooking & court shows, spending time with her grand- children and great-grandchildren, and late-night trips to Taco Bell; she loved her tattoos & piercings, nick- named "Code Red" when being photographed or din- ing out and so much more. A visitation was held Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Holder- Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. In Loving Memory of Kenneth "Mac" Fernando Kirk Sr. July 26, 1947 – June 1, 2022 Kenneth Fernando Kirk Sr., also known as "Mac," was born to Fernando Isaac Kirk and Bertha Raney Kirk on July 26, 1947, in Florence, AZ. They left AZ and moved to Reseda, CA, in 1950. The family lived in CA until they moved to Missouri in 1960. In Missouri, he worked in the family's tobacco fields. He then joined the United States Army in 1964 and was sta- tioned in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. In 1965 he would be deployed to Vietnam for one year. After his tour in Vietnam, he was stationed in Fort Lewis, WA, until he left the service in 1968. While Mac was in Vietnam, his parents moved to Poston, AZ. Mac's sisters Roxy and Mona befriended Beatrice Trevino, the next-door neighbor. One day while Beatrice was visiting their house, she saw a picture of Mac and asked his sister if he was going with anyone. Roxy told her she didn't know. Beatrice then pro- claimed that she was going to marry him one day. She kept faithful to her word and married him two years later, on December 14, 1968. The following year on December 10, 1969, Mac and Beatrice welcomed their first son Kenneth Fernando Kirk Jr. In the early years of their marriage, Mac worked at the feedlot in Parker, AZ, until they moved to Oregon, where they would welcome twin boys Johnny Louis Kirk and Jerry Lee Kirk on December 26, 1971. Shortly after the twins' birth, they would move back to Poston, AZ, where Mac would work at Chrismer Farms for several years. During this time, they welcomed Beatrice's nephew Jesse Flores and raise him as their son. Throughout their marriage, they opened their home to many others. He went on to work for Western Farm Services until he retired. Throughout his life, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He leaves behind his wife, 3 sons, 15 grandkids, 21 great-grandkids, 3 sib- lings, and several nieces and nephews. He is proceeded by his parents, one son, and two siblings. CONTINUED PAGE 20
