Page 4 TRIBAL CONTINUED FROM PAGE 3 All Official Press Releases from the Colorado River Indian Tribes in Chronological Order MARCH 18, 2020 Colorado River Service Unit COVID-19 (CORONA VIRUS ADVISORY) The Colorado River Service Unit (CRSU), which includes: Parker Indian Health Center, Irene Benn Health Clinic (Moapa, NV), Peach Springs Health Center, Chemehuevi Clinic, and Supai Clinic will remain open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Chemehuevi Clinic (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm), Emergency Department will remain open 24/7. Specialty Clinics (Audiology, OBGYN, Rheumatology, and Surgery) at all CRSU locations are canceled until further notice. The Dental Clinics at PIHC and Peach Spring Health Center will see emergency dental cases. The pharmacy will begin issuing 90-day medication refills for all patients 65 years and older. If you are 65 or older, your doctor can also write new prescriptions for up to a 90-day supply of your medications. Exceptions to this policy are medications that require frequent monitoring and narcotics. Once the need for social dis- tancing is over, fills and refills will revert to 30 days. If you are a student currently home, please contact the Public Health Nursing Department and inform the Public Health Nurse of your current health status. Tribal offices will close outright tomorrow (Friday March 20th) to give employees time to get their homes in order and take care of personal needs as this health crisis persists. Tribal enterprises will remain open under new safety measures that were implemented this week. While there have been no documented cases of Coronavirus at the BlueWater, these measures are being taken in an abundance of caution. The theater will close this evening. Gaming at the casino will cease at 3am Friday March 20th. The entire facility will close at 8am Friday. These are temporary closures. The facility is expected to re-open in two weeks or when it is determined safe to do so. Other Tribal enterprises remain open under new safety measures that were implemented this week, but that is subject to change.
