Gulf Pine Catholic • March 9, 2018 17 Support for Evangelization - $228,400 Support for Evangelization provides the means for the Church to continue its commission from the Lord to “go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” The ministries of evangelization that receive funding are Diocesan Lay Ministry, Diocesan Communications Office, Hispanic Ministry, Sacred Heart Retreat Center, Catholic Scouting Program, and the Gulf Pine Catholic diocesan newspaper. Support for Youth Ministry - $91,752 Support for Youth Ministry provides for diocesan-wide outreach to the youth of our diocese. This includes Youth Faith Formation, LifeTeen and Core Team Development Program, ADORE, Campus Ministry, Search Retreats, Spirit Movers, and the Youth Pro-Life Activities. Support for de l’Epee Deaf Center - $94,790 Support for the de l’Epee Deaf Center provides sign language classes and advocacy, social services in the form of recreational activities, summer camps, field trips and craft classes. It also provides interpreting services that include 24/7 on call interpreting, emergency and severe weather interpreting. Spiritual services provided include Mass interpretation, Religious Education, wedding and funeral Interpreting as well as retreats, workshops and pilgrimages. Support for Stewardship & Development - $80,000 The Office of Stewardship and Development is a newly designed office by Bishop Kihneman to help pastors and parishes develop, teach and implement the Spirituality of Stewardship at the parish and diocesan level. Support for this Office also help in the administration of the annual diocesan Catholic Sharing Appeal. Total CSA 2017 Allocations - $1,000,062
