en, ages 18-40, to an immersion experi-
ence in Holly Springs, Miss., March 15
through 19.
The following are possible ministry
experiences that the participants may be-
come involved in:
Tutoring underprivileged children or
adults in the community;
Helping in a clothing resale shop and
interacting with the customers;
Helping a family with some minor
repair;
Setting up and serving a meal to peo-
ple in the area;
Visiting the home bound;
Learn about community living with
Sisters of the Living Word and their
sense of balance of prayer, work, and re-
laxation in their daily lives.

Good Health Triduum
CLERMONT HARBOR -- A Holy
Infant of Good Health Triduum will be
observed March 11-13 at St. Ann Parish,
5858 Lower Bay Road. In March, there
will be adoration at 5:30 pm followed by
recitation of the Rosary at 6 pm and Mass
at 6:30 pm. Masses will be celebrated on
March 12 and 13 at 8:30 am.
St. Charles Borromeo Parish,
Picayune:
1000 Goodyear Blvd., will
host a St. Joseph Altar. Blessing of the
altar will be on Saturday, March 14,
after the 4 pm vigil Mass, visitation
only from 5-7 pm. On Sunday, March
15, a tasting will be served from 10 am
to 2 pm. Donations are welcome.
St. Joseph Parish, Poplarville:
A St.
Joseph Altar will be held Thursday,
March 19, at the St. Joseph Catholic
Church in Poplarville, on Hwy. 11.
Hours for the altar will be 12 noon to

Follow-Up on Melissa’s
Hope Story
Wheelchairs donations are no longer
needed for Melissa’s Hope children as
reported in the January 30 edition of the
Gulf Pine Catholic
. A generous Canadi-
an benefactor has fitted each child with a
proper wheelchair. Thank you and God’s
blessings to all those who called wanting
to donate wheelchairs. Items still need-
ed include band aids; tape; gauze; ther-
mometers; children’s Tylenol; blue pad
protectors; and small, medium, large,
and extra-large adult depends/diapers.
Also needed are school supplies such as
pencils, paper, crayons, coloring books,
markers, and spiral notebooks.
Notre Dame Hospice
Vounteers Needed in MS
Notre Dame Hospice, a ministry of
the Archdiocese of New Orleans, in col-
laboration with the Diocese of Biloxi, is
looking for volunteers in Mississippi to
serve patients and families in your com-
munity. Volunteers can provide caregiver
relief, run errands, etc. If you are inter-
ested or you would like more informa-

Youth Concert
BILOXI -- Mary Castner will present
a youth concert on Saturday, March 14,
at 7:30 p.m. at St. Patrick High School
Gymnasium. Admission is $8 for stu-
dents. Free admission for chaperones.

DEDEAUX -- The next Men’s Cur-
sillo (#254) will be held March 12-15
at the Sacred Heart Cursillo Center. The
next Women’s Cursillo (#255) will be

Golf Tournament
DIAMONDHEAD -- Most Holy
Trinity Parish will hold a golf tourna-
ment April 11 at the Diamondhead Coun-
try Club Cardinal Course. Check-in is at
7 am with Shotgun start at 8:30 am. Re-
freshments will be offered on the course.
The format is a 4-person scramble
with handicaps. Entry fees are: $65 for
annual payers of Diamondhead green
and trail fees and $85 for all other play-
ers.
Cash prizes awarded for first, sec-
ond, third and fourth place teams in each
flight.

Sponsorships: Each sponsor will
have a printed sign on the golf course.

Seder Supper
GULFPORT -- St. John the Evange-
list Catholic Church in Gulfport cordial-
ly invites you to help us celebrate Seder
Supper on Tuesday, March 17, at 6 pm
in Presentation Hall. Every year we tell
the story of our faith which culminated
in the institution of the Eucharist at the
Last Supper, and we explain Biblical
truths about Jesus, and what happened
on the last day of his life. All that is re-
quired to attend is a covered dish to help

rienced Youth Minister to join the Youth
Ministry team at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church in Hattiesburg. We are looking
for someone who is excited about youth
and would like to make this a full-time
vocation for themselves. We are looking
for at least a three-year commitment. It is
a paid position with medical benefits and
paid vacation time. The level of ministry
will be with high school students includ-
ing campus ministry, retreats, days of
reflections and various functions that go
along with this ministry. It will require
