High Country Beverage has
acquired 16 acres of land near the
southwest corner of Interstate 25
and U.S. Highway 34 in John-
stown for a 130,000-square-foot
distribution facility.
Entities affiliated with Gerrard
Development Corp. sold the
property at 4200 Ronald Reagan
Blvd. for $2.7 million, according
to public records. The site is locat-
ed within the 2534 development.
High Country Beverage dis-
tributes products produced by
MillerCoors,
Constellation,
Heineken USA, Pabst, New Bel-
gium, Oskar Blues and others.
“We are very fortunate to be
in the beer business in Northern
Colorado, and this new facility
gives us the opportunity to get
all of our employees under the
same roof again,” Steve Nich-
ols, company president, said in
a statement. “We know that this
facility will also help us improve
our quality procedures and cus-
tomer service as well,” he said.
“We are pleased to welcome
High Country Beverage’s
130,000-square-foot headquarters
and Class A distribution facility
to the 2534 master-planned com-
munity in Johnstown. The com-
bination of High Country Bever-
age’s high-quality people, facility
and corporate citizenship makes
them precisely the type of com-
pany that we were looking for
to catalyze a Class A industrial
park at 2534,” said Gary Gerrard,
president of Gerrard Develop-
ment Corp.
“High Country Beverage is the
latest example of the great activ-
ity and momentum we are expe-
riencing at 2534. The excellent
location of 2534 in combination
with the rapid planning approval
process and low municipal fees
in Johnstown continue to fuel
this momentum. 2016 will be a
historic year for Johnstown with
the addition of numerous retail-
ers, restaurants, hotels, apart-
ment units and industrial users.
More announcements are com-
ing soon,” said Ryan Schaefer,
chief executive officer of Chris-
land Real Estate Cos.
Schaefer and Jake Hallauer of
Chrisland Real Estate handled
the transaction.
