tevinson Automotive was excited to embrace a more open and creative work-
space solution. Requests included transparency, glass fronts for all private
offices and collaborative workstations.
Our solution: Clean and functional private offices were designed in National’s
Waveworks series. National conference tables included tabletop power access.
Conference seating was set at a permanent height, creating a consistent appear-
ance. Teknion’s LeverageWorkstations with District Storage components addressed
specific storage needs. As a result, natural light and open views across the office
created an energetic environment.

esign is underway for a new resort-style senior living and care campus in
Lakewood. Containing a total of 335 units of independent living, assisted
living and memory care, Lakewood Senior Living sets a new gold standard
in Senior Living by incorporating a variety of amenity and activity spaces that en-
hance lifestyle opportunities for residents while serving as a social destination for
the community at large. Situated on 19 acres, the centerpiece of the concept is the
2-acre Resort Courtyard containing outdoor living, dining, spa and fitness facilities,
outdoor bistro and gathering areas, nature walk, water features and a variety of
other hospitality-style amenities.

his new 12,000-square-foot religious project included a 275-seat worship
center with a full alter and baptismal area. It also included three administra-
tive offices, a full commercial kitchen with an exhaust hood and grease trap, a
coffee bar, and three classrooms to accommodate infants, toddlers and teenagers.
Additional components included full landscaping, a monument sign and a 60-space
parking lot. The building consisted of wood framing with minimal structural steel
with engineered trusses. The building’s exterior was a mixture of stone, stucco and
asphalt roofing. Unique elements included the installation of a sophisticated AV
sound system to accommodate a full band performing at Sunday services. A unique
architectural element included the mounting of an illuminated cross, measuring 24’
high by 12’ wide, to an exterior wall of the church.
Lee Architects & Interior Designers of Denver was the architect on this $2.2 mil-
lion project.

rails at Palm Center is a 90-unit LEED certified multifamily tax credit apart-
ment community.
The site is located generally near the north east corner of Griggs Road and
Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in the city of Houston’s Third Ward District. The
site is uniquely positioned within a 3-minute walk to a light-rail stop on Griggs
Road. The light-rail line extends north to the University of Houston as well as other
employment centers such as downtown. The 3.54-acre site accommodates three
apartment buildings, parking and open space amenities for its residents. Common
area amenities include a leasing office, coordinators office, furnished community
rooms, business center/library, fitness facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, chil-
dren’s playscape area, barbecue grilling, play lawns, security fencing and gated
controlled access, along with a linear park and open space along the Belmont Gully.
