Construction of The Katherine & Charles Hover Green House Neighborhood Homes, a new, 48-unit Green House skilled-nursing addition to the Hover Senior Living Community in Longmont, began in May. Hover Senior Living Community is a continu- ing care community that includes income-restricted apartments, assisted living, and 55-plus for-sale patio homes. The architects are Thomas Moore Architects and SWBR Architects. The general con- tractor is Fransen Pittman Construction Co. Inc. It is expected to open in fall 2019. Construction of Highlands II, a second phase of 72 age-qualified, income-restricted apartment units adjacent to the existing Highlands I in Grand Junction, began in April.The architect was OZ Architecture and the general contractor was Shaw Construction.The property is owned and managed by the Grand Junc- tion Housing Authority and is expected to open in spring. Construction of The Falls, a 120-unit, market- rate age-qualified apartment property in Windsor, began construction in November 2017. The archi- tect is MA Architects, and the general contractor is Sampson Construction Co. Inc. The property will be owned and managed by L3 Management Corp and is expected to open in early 2019.
