Born in Superior on Dec. 29, 1928, she lived there most of her life. She was a life-long homemaker, raising numerous children and grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert and three sons, Estevan “Ephan,” Alex and Fernando “Fernie” and stepson Freddie Velas- quez. Besides Father Velásquez, she is survived by her chil- dren Richard “Viti,” Te- resa “Baba,” Otero, Adelita “Apen,” Virginia, Andrea Beltran, Andrew and Angel. She had 33 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two broth- ers, Patricio and Billy, and two sisters, Lupe and Frances. AMass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 11 in St. Francis of Assisi Church, fol- lowed by interment.
