Weisenburger will be the main celebrant at the annual Mass for Life at St. Augustine Cathedral on Jan. 11 at 9 a.m. It will be followed by the March for Life to Holy Hope Cemetery. Father Domenico C. Pinti, diocesan Vicar for Life, said that the traditional Rose Ceremony will be part of the cemetery event. The ceremony involves a single rose to be place at a marker, dedicated to those who died from abortion, by a representative of every calendar year since the US Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion. The walk is scheduled to begin around 10:30 a.m. and the cemetery service around 11:30 a.m. All are invited.
