BOOTS Construction completes law

offices build-out in Wells Fargo Tower


GE Johnson Construction finishes mixed-

use Denver Union Station Block A


E Johnson Construction completed a unique $74 million hotel, office and

retail complex referred to as Denver Union Station Block A. Located at the

commuter rail line near Union Station, this project features Kimpton Hotel

Born, a 12-story, 200-room boutique hotel with street-level and rooftop patios and two

restaurants inspired by local chefs.

Block A is also home to a five-story office building with approximately 50,000 square

feet of office space and a connecting bridge to the hotel. The office space is near mass

transit and includes 11,000 sf of retail and restaurant space plus an underground park-

ing garage with 194 parking spaces.

Hotel Born will seek LEED Silver certification while the office building will seek LEED

Gold. Semple Brown Design and BOKA Powell spearheaded the contemporary design

for Continuum Partners.


Alliance Construction Solutions completes

Hidden Lake Homes in Westminster


lliance Construction Solutions recently completed the newHidden Lake Homes

in Westminster. Constructed for the Jefferson County Housing Authority, this

complex will provide affordable housing for seniors. The 73,400-square-foot

project, designed by ej architecture, features 72 one- and two-bedroom units in a single

three-story elevator building. Interior amenities include a fitness room, internet cafe,

hair salon, exam room for visiting medical personnel, community room with an attached

kitchen, and athird-floor open viewing terrace.

Hidden Lake Homes sits on a 4-acre site that was formerly the Shoenberg Dairy

Farm. In addition to the interior amenities, the project includes an 80-space parking lot

and is within a short distance of numerous stores and restaurants.


OOTS Construction recently completed the 18,000-sf build-out of new office

space for Senn Visciano Canges PC, a Denver-law firm. Located in the iconic

Wells Fargo Center in downtown Denver, this BurkettEUA design emphasized

a crisp first impression by concentrating on the main reception and conference room

areas. The modernization begins with a sleek reception station made from a beautiful

Quarter Figured Sycamore. The station features a floating, loading corner to keep com-

ings and goings organized and out of the way. The desk’s file storage is integrated as a

back wall partitioning structure topped with a glass divider. Wall colors were chosen to

enhance city views from the large conference room windows. Counter-height, glass-top

benches have been built into window framing to elegantly maximize laydown surfaces

in the conference room’s limited space.


Adolfson & Peterson Construction builds

new Woodland Park aquatic-only center


dolfson & Peterson Construction, along with Barker Rinker Seacat Architec-

ture and the city of Woodland Park, recently celebrated the grand opening of

a new 24,530-sf indoor aquatic-only center. The center includes a zero-entry

leisure pool, play features, a lazy river, a six-lane competitive lap pool with a diving

board, and a front entry that includes a party room, child care and administrative space.

The indoor Aquatics Center is a family oriented natatorium and provides amenities

for fun as well as fitness. Leisure pool water depths vary from beach-like zero-depth

entries to 4’ 6” at the deepest. Play features are provided for a variety of ages including

geysers, interactive spray features, a lazy river and waterslide that goes outside of the

building before returning inside. The lazy river also doubles as a resistance channel for

exercise, therapy and rehabilitation. A competitive, six-lane lap pool is adjacent to the

leisure pool and has a 4’ to 12’ depth and a one meter diving board.
