Ware Malcomb recently was recognized by the Tilt-Up Concrete Association with an Achievement Award for its work on the Prologis Stapleton Business Center North Building 1 in Denver. The tilt-up warehouse is a 402,398-square-foot speculative facility and incorporated several architectural features, including lay-up panels, floating panels and spandrels that reach over 50 feet. The corners of the building incorporated three story recessed storefront glass, covered canopies, floating panels and bearing spandrels. The complexity of the architectural details required careful planning, the firm noted. “It is an honor to be recognized by TCA for our work on behalf of our clients,” said Matt Chaiken, regional director of Ware Malcomb’s Denver office. “The Prologis project is a perfect example of Ware Malcomb’s longstanding experience designing tilt-up facilities throughout North America. The detail and precision that went into designing this warehouse is a true testament to our team’s innovation and keen design eye.”
