Taylor Kohrs completed the new administrative and maintenance facility headquarters for the Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority. The firm partnered with SEMSWA, Applebaum Architects and NV5 to provide a new and functional campus for SEMSWA employees and new infrastructure for the city of Centennial. The campus is located at the intersection of South Fairplay Street and South Jordan Road, adjacent to Dove Creek Regional Detention Pond. Once undeveloped land, Taylor Kohrs created a new intersection with traffic signaling, new roads and infrastructure to accommodate the campus. The 16,000-square-foot administration building has three conference rooms with operable partitions to open to one large conference room with state-of-the-art audio and visual, a workout room with showers, a breakroom with a walkout patio and light harvesting light monitors along the building rooftop. The 8,000-sf maintenance building has five, extra-deep, high-bays for the Vactor trucks and machinery along with a mud and changing room for the maintenance crews.
