McWhinney plans to add 18,000 square feet of inline retail space to its Van de Water mixed-use community in Loveland.

Highway 34. There is 8,800 sf of available space.

Construction will start this month, with completion in spring.

The project will be situated off Sculptor Drive, near Lowe’s and Kohl’s.

“We are excited to see the continued development of our Van de Water community,” Ashley Stiles, McWhinney vice president of development, said in an announcement. “Given the region’s population growth and Van de Water’s proximity to local residents and businesses, the site could not be better positioned within Loveland’s growing community.” Scott Steputis of Crosbie Real Estate Group is handling leasing of the available space.

Infusion Architects LLC is the architect for the project, which will be built by contractor Coe Construction Inc.

Van de Water is a 370-acre community with residential and commercial uses, including 248,323 sf of existing retail space. It offers convenient access to both Interstate 25 and downtown Loveland and is within walking distance of The Greens apartments and St. Aubyn Homes residential subdivision.
