Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has hired BOX Studios to provide ongoing de sign services for its offices in Colorado and in global offices worldwide. BOX Studios has designed more than 50 office spaces for CWT over the last 14 - years. As part of each CWT project, we incorporate environmental branding into each design. The unique challenges of this Toronto project were finding the best way to manifest the brand while reflecting the unique geography and culture for this regional office. Our team combined elements of Toronto’s metropolitan culture and the office’s location (next to the Toronto Pearson International Airport) within branded elements that communicate CWT’s identity and culture. Because of a few unique technical elements that helped solve these design challenges, this project won the ASID Crystal Award and was chosen as the Colorado Facility Awards of Excellence (COFAX) winner for Leading Edge Elements.
