Sephora opening at Briargate shops
Leading beauty retailer Sephora will open at The Promenade Shops at Briargate.
Sephora leased 5,500 square feet at the lifestyle center located at 1885 Briargate Parkway in Colorado Springs and is targeting an April 13 opening.
Construction is under way on the store at The Promenade Shops at Briargate, which has spaces of 7,800, 4,800, 3,000 and 1,500 sf available.
The Promenade Shops at Briargate also is home to tenants including Apple, Bara Sushi, Pottery Barn, Soma Intimates and Williams-Sonoma.
Forever 21 expands at Park Meadows
Forever 21 recently announced its plans to move and expand to a new location within Park Meadows.
The retailer will open a 32,000-square-foot location at the center at 8401 Park Meadows Center Drive in Lone Tree.
It will occupy the space previously leased by Borders. Renovations currently are under way on the space as a Jan. 28 opening is planned.
The Park Meadows store will feature the retailer’s newest store concept, which includes a snack bar and children and men’s clothing.
Also, this summer, Park Meadows will welcome the Yard House to the center, whose tenants include Nordstrom, Macy’s, American Girl, BRIO Tuscan Grill and Grand Lux Café.
Two retailers open at Orchard Town Center
A pair of retailers recently opened for business at the Orchard Town Center in Westminster.
Sprint opened its 1,480 square foot store and Crazy 8, a division of Gymboree that sells boys and girls clothing from infant sizes to size 14, opened in a 2,462-sf space in November.
As well, McWhinney is continuing construction of its 300-unit condominium-style community just north of the Town Square at Orchard Town Center. The balance of the community is slated for completion in 2012.
Orchard Town Center is located at the northwest corner of Interstate 25 and 144th Avenue.
Belmar opens 240,770 sf of new retail space in 2011
Belmar saw a near doubling of retail sales in 2011, according to a preliminary look at year-end sales for the mixed use project at West Alameda Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood.
The rise is based on the addition of new retail and strong programming for the dining and shopping destination, the center reports. In 2011, Belmar opened 240,770 square feet of new retail space and office space at the center is 100 percent leased.
Giddy Up Clothing Boutique was the latest retail tenant to open at Belmar. The retailer, which features rock-n-roll inspired clothing from New York to Los Angeles, opened its 783-sf store in December.
Pink & White Nails (2,159 sf) and Pachiugo Gelato (1,217 sf) will open soon at the development, also home to Target, Whole Foods, Best Buy and a movie theater.
Lacrosse Unlimited inks deal in Highlands Ranch
Lacrosse Unlimited, which specializes in lacrosse equipment and apparel, recently signed a lease at the Highlands Ranch University Park, where it plans to open for business this month.
Whole Foods anchors University Park at 9350-9370 S. Colorado Blvd., at the northeast corner of University and Colorado boulevards. Other tenants include Chase, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Pei Wei and Archivers. University Park is 96 percent occupied.
Spaces of 2,200 square feet and 1,267 sf are available for lease.
Spicy Pickle now serving at Belleview Promenade
Spicy Pickle has opened at the Belleview Promenade.
The sandwich restaurant is part of the center at 8000 E.
Belleview Ave. in Greenwood Village, at Belleview and South Ulster Street. Other tenants include Delish Demure, Fleur De Lis, Homer Reed, Il Fornaio, Cool River and Larkburger.
Space available at Belleview Promenade includes a 10,599-square-foot office space, a 6,612-sf retail space as well as additional smaller retail spaces.
Two Mile Ranch opens at Cherry Hills Marketplace
There’s a new grocer at Cherry Hills Marketplace.
Two Mile Ranch Market opened in November at the Greenwood Village center at 5910 University Blvd., at the intersection of University Boulevard and Orchard Road. The specialty grocery store features beef, other meats and fish, packaged groceries, sundries, a butcher shop for aging, storing and cutting meats and seafood for sale at the center and other retail locations, and for wholesale to other retail vendors, restaurants and institutional food providers.
Ross Dress for Less, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Old Navy, Original Pancake House, Roosters Men’s Grooming Center, Cherry Hills Shop and The Wooden Table also are located at the center. Key spaces available for lease include a 1,665-square foot space.
