wards for lifetimeachievement, a YoungLeader “rising star,” and three projects that exemplify best practices of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) will headline the second ULI Colorado Impact Awards being presented on Thursday, April 30, at the Seawell Ballroom in the Denver Theater District. “The Impact Awards showcase the great work of Colorado developers, architects, builders, and their teams,” says Kirk Monroe, EVP of Vectra Bank Colorado and Chair of the ULI Colorado Executive Committee. “We hope these great examples will help our industry to build the healthy, sustainable, profitable and beautiful projects and communities that Colorado deserves.” The Impact Awards feature five categories: Legacy Award for Lifetime Achievement: Recognizes a seasoned professional with 20+ years of extraordinary achievements. Previous winner: Dana Crawford, Urban Neighborhoods Rising Star: Recognizes an industry leader under 35 who has made a contribution “beyond their years.” Previous winner: Bradley Weinig, Enterprise Community Partners. Innovation: A project that exemplifies innovation in land planning, finance, green tech, or another significant area. Previous winner: Drive at Taxi Influence: A project that has inspired imitation by demonstrating positive community impact and financial success. Previous winner: Golden Urban Renewal Authority for Downtown Golden Infill: A project that exemplifies compact, walkable infill. Previous winner: Fire Clay Lofts The awards committee is co-chaired by Beverly Carlson of First American Title and Stacy Stout of Stout Strategies.
