Colorado Real Estate Journal - March 18, 2015
On behalf of ULI Colorado, EKS&H, and all of the other sponsors, I’d like to introduce the 2015 ULI Colorado Impact Awards. For more than 75 years, ULI, has been a leading voice in the business community for the dynamic and complex issues surrounding urban growth and the American city. Awards offered by the national organization and its local District Councils set the standard in recognizing outstanding real-estate development projects, related programs, and visionaries in urban development. Categories for the ULI Colorado Impact Awards include Infill, Innovation, and Influence. Nominees are judged by a jury consisting of top ULI members. Nominees for the 2015 Infill category include the Aria Apartments, Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center, and The Source. Nominees for the Innovation category include 25th & Larimer, Denver Union Station, and Hangar 2. Nominees for the Influence category include 1175 Lee Hill, Denver Union Station Neighborhood and Transit Hub, and The Amherst. Several of these projects have overcome significant challenges and present unique opportunities. Regardless of the winners, it is clear that we have a thriving and innovative urban region. At EKS&H, we are focused on and excited about the growth of the Colorado construction and real estate industries. Everyone at EKS&H offers the individuals honored with these nominations and awards a warm congratulations. We offer our sincere thanks to ULI Colorado, the other sponsors, and you for supporting these awards. I encourage you to find more ways to get personally involved in this critically important organization. I have no doubt that your passion and participation will have great impact now and in the future. Thank you, RJ McArthur, CPA Partner, EKS&H LLLP PS—We look forward to seeing you in person at the Awards Gala on Thursday, April 30, at the Seawell Ballroom
