Western Development Group promoted four of its employees: Gregg Johnson, Lisa McInroy, Phil Brewer and Todd Donati. Johnson was promoted to vice president of construction of the privately held real estate development company. He served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1992 to 1998 before joining Turner Construction. In 2005, he joined Western Development, where he has worked on projects including the construction of NorthCreek, 101 University office building renovation, the 200 Fillmore renovation and construction of 250 Columbine.

McInroy was promoted to vice president of property management.

She has a 25-year career in property management representing clients that included The New Hampshire Teachers Union. She joined Prime West Real Estate Services in Denver in 1992 as vice president of property management. In 2001, she joined Frederick Ross Co., and she joined Western Development in 2006. She has managed all of Western’s projects in Cherry Creek.

Brewer was promoted to director of construction. Brewer has worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years, including working at Etkin Stanska Construction and Adolfson & Peterson Construction. He has worked on projects such as NorthCreek, 250 Columbine as well as Tallyn’s Reach Municipal Center and The Timbers Club at Snowmass. He has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a master’s degree from Colorado State University.

Donati was promoted to construction manager. He began his professional career as an intern with Western Development in 2006 and was hired as a full-time employee following his graduation from the University of Denver in 2008. Since that time, he managed core-andshell tenant improvement construction of office space at 101 University, as well as the buildout of retail space for tenants in The Shops at NorthCreek and the build-out of luxury condominiums, also at NorthCreek.

Jon Gambrill, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, and Brent Mather were named principals in Gensler’s Denver office.

In his 15 years with the design and architecture firm, Gambrill, managing director, has participated in the delivery of a diverse range of projects from complex commercial office buildings in the U.S. and overseas to corporate headquarters and high-performance work environments. Gambrill earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati. He practiced professionally in New York, London, Chicago and Los Angeles before pursuing a Master of Architecture at the University of Illinois and settling in Denver.

Mather, design director, has been with Gensler for 17 years and has a diverse portfolio of award winning work. He has a degree in architecture and planning from the University of Tennessee Knoxville.

Kevin White joined Rocky Mountain Group’s Englewood office.

White joined the architectural, engineering and planning firm with 26 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Utah, Nevada and California.

White earned a Master of Science degree in arctic engineering from the University of Alaska and a Master of Science in civil engineering (geotechnical) from the University of Brunswick. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Brunswick.

Boots Construction Co. promoted two staff members to the position of principal.

Chad Bartlett and Tyler Jackson, LEED AP, are the newly named principals and have been with the firm since spring 2005.

Bartlett and Jackson join existing principals Todd Thomford and Cody Sparrow, along with President Jim Boots, in forming the general contractor/construction management firm’s management team.

Bartlett, who received his degree in construction management from the University of Northern Iowa in 2002, is a senior project manager with the firm. He has played a leadership role in many of the firm’s projects and his experience includes a wide range of tenant improvement and renovation projects for clients operating in the office, retail and medical sectors.

Jackson graduated from Colorado State University in 2001 with a degree in construction management.

He worked for another firm before joining the Boots team in 2005. He began his career in the field and then transitioned to a project management role.

Chelsea Semelka, LEED GA, is the newest member of Workshop8’s interior design department.

She works with interior designer Kat Van Sluyter and the architecture teams to fully integrate interior materials, colors and layouts into projects.

Before joining the architecture, design and planning firm, she gained experience with commercial interiors and systems furniture at Sedgwick Business Interiors and Corporate Environments.

Semelka graduated with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design and a minor in art history.
