Haselden Construction recently topped out the new Limon K-12 school. The $22.5 million project will bring two new stories of classrooms to the school, as well as support and administration spaces, providing room for growth with space for 600 students. Haselden and design-build partner gkkworks celebrated the topping out in January with staff and students. “This project is a great addition to our education community and will provide the students with a learning atmosphere where they will thrive,” stated Limon Town Manager David Stone. The 85,228-square-foot building addition will include new classrooms, a library, cafeteria/ commons, kitchen and administration area. Site improvements will provide a bus loop, student drop-off, parking areas, hard and soft play areas, playgrounds, landscaping, site lighting, signage and fencing. The addition is expected to be open this fall.
