The Denver Office of Economic Development issued award letters to 33 organizations slated to collectively receive $4.9 million in federal grant funding this year. OED reviewed proposals in 2014 from organizations that responded to a Notice of Funding Availability for economic development and housing projects. Additionally, 14 previously awarded neighborhood development public service projects were selected to receive additional funds in 2015. The awarded projects will be funded through a variety of federal community development programs, including the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS programs.
