The graduates l-f are: Jason Hoang, Jonah Grumme, Warren Gunter, Ashley Hall, Ava Rafferty, Aubrey Canzoneri, Emma Hebert, and Father Mike Austin. Sacred Heart Parish, Pascagoula On Sunday, during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, our parish community at Sacred Heart Parish gathered for a very special occasion: the Baccalaureate Mass, where we honored and recognized 22 young people for their accomplishments this year. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each one of them for their dedication, perseverance, and success. During the Mass, Deacon Mike Martin shared an inspiring message with the graduates, reminding them as they prepare to leave for college or begin their careers: “Do not forget to pack your faith with you.” He encouraged them to always remember their identity as Catholics and to remain faithful to who Jesus Christ is calling them to be in their lives. Following the Holy Eucharist, the graduates and their families gathered in the parish hall for a celebratory lunch. This joyful time allowed the graduates to share their future plans -- whether heading to college or entering the workforce -- and to celebrate this important milestone together as a community. Each graduate received a special gift: a cross, a meaningful symbol to remind them that they belong to the Church. It serves as a sign that Sacred Heart Parish will always be their home, and that they are never alone. The cross stands as a visible reminder that they are supported by a community that is praying for them, and that Jesus Christ will always walk with them in their journey. We once again congratulate all the graduates and their families on this wonderful achievement. A special word of gratitude and appreciation goes to the Ladies Auxiliary of SHP for their outstanding work in organizing this event. Thank you for the delicious meal and for your dedication in making this celebration so memorable. We also extend our thanks to Dr. Brock Banks for sharing his faith, life experiences, and wisdom. His presentation was truly inspiring and will surely provide encouragement and guidance to our graduates as they move forward into the next chapter of their lives. May God continue to bless and guide all our graduates!
